100 years young, died peacefully at Homewood at Crumland Farms, Frederick, MD, surrounded by loving family, at 4:20 p.m. on November 25, 2018. She was born in Windber, Pennsylvania, on July 6, 1918, to Alex and Mary Maria Elizabeth (Lorenz) Toth, both of Hungary, who resided most of their married life near Windber, PA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harrison Paul Hart; two adult children, Janet Elaine Pfautz of New Jersey, Robert Charles Hart of New Hampshire; one baby, Harrison, who died shortly after birth; sisters Mary Kish, Margaret Buckshaw, Helen Lesko, and brother Steve Toth, all of Detroit, Michigan, her brother-in-law, Bill Kmetz of Windber, and nieces and nephews, Diane Kmetz, Gloria Kusinko, Joanne Lehman, Rosemarie Buckshaw, Louise Malinasky, Sankey Hart, James Hart, Donald Hart, Mike Kish, and Gail Dawson. Her strength, good health, and love of walking carried her through 100 full years of life. She loved raising her children. She loved her family, having fun, laughing, swimming, cooking, the color blue, travel and adventure, dancing, singing in her church choir, flowers and planting flowers. Elizabeths passion for life and her sense of humor and joy will be remembered by her sister, Emma Kmetz, two adult daughters, Laura Hart Antonishak and husband, John; and Elizabeth Bernice Herrmann and husband, Fred; daughter-in-law, Barbara Hart; grandchildren, Annette Cassanese, Marie Babb, Elizabeth Gatsch, Susan DesLauriers, Patty Bedel, Craig Pfautz, Bob Hart, Steve Hart, Tom Hart, Michael Hart, Kevin Hart and their families; and great grandchildren, Sydney Babb, Brett Babb, Chris Hart, Emily Fell, Andrew Hart, Jessica Moody, Josh Hart, Danny Hart, Bryan Hart, Marina Hart, Abby Hart, Colin Hart, Hunter Hart, Rhegan Hart, Ayden Hart, Shawn DesLauriers, Anna DesLauriers and their families; great-great grandchildren Aibhne Fell, Nicole Alemon, Kaylib Alemon, Luke Hart, Lilly Hart, Adalyn Grace, Ava Rose, Jameson Daniel Hart, Lauren Pfautz, Megan Pfautz, and Abigail Pfautz. She will also be remembered and loved by many nieces and nephews for whom she always found time: Cindy Ramirez, William (Bill) Kmetz, Patricia Sladich, John Lesko, Mike Lesko, Jeffrey Lesko, Mary Ann Sutherland, Beverly Chapman, Yvonne Seders, Edward Hart, Clarence Hart, Charles Hart, and Harrison Hart, and their families and many other nieces and nephews too numerous to mention here. A viewing will be held on Friday, November 30, 2018, from 5 to 7:30 p.m. at the William Kisiel Funeral Home on Graham Avenue, Windber, where vigil for the deceased will be held. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, December 1, 2018, at 11 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, Windber. Reverend Lawrence Lacovic, Celebrant. She will be laid to rest with her beloved husband, daughter, infant son, brother, and parents at the St. Mary Hungarian Cemetery, Windber, PA, immediately following the Mass.
