Nicki Minaj new music

On Friday, Dec. 8, Minaj dropped her fifth studio album“Pink Friday 2.”

Minaj’s sequel to her 2010 debut finds the explicit rap icon delivering her trademark clever rhymes with ease along with big-name features on the record including Lil Wayne, J. Cole,Drake, Lil Uzi Vert, Future, and more.

Critics are going gaga for the 22-track album, too.

“The biggest, brashest queen of rap shows she still has the throne,” gushedThe Standard.

For our money, we suggest checking out her atmospheric, clubby “Needle,” the chill “Last Time I Saw You” and “Everybody” which cleverly speeds up a sample of Junior Senior’s banger “Move Your Feet.”

Our favorites have to be the soon-to-be anthem “Pink Friday Girls” which lifts from Cyndi Lauper’s iconic “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun” and the blissed-out album finale “Just The Memories,” though.
