Just wondering when each of these reforges are better. I know ancient is just better for damage overall (most of the time, I think?), but I've only heard Renowned being used for magic find and sometimes to max attack speed (with essence shop perk). How good is the 1% stat boost from Renowned, and does it outscale cata 50 ancient in any situation? I'm assuming not, because Ancient seems to be the default option for literally everybody. Similarly to this, there's Withered or Fabled. Is the up to 15% damage bonus additive or multiplicative? If it is multiplicative, is it better than Withered when considering extremely high amounts of damage? Withered is also basically the default reforge, but I've also seen Fabled used for M7 lcm. I'm just curious why Ancient and Withered are so dominant despite Renowned and Fabled also having many benefits.

H but 60 attack speed, 4% multiplicative crit chance, mf, and petluck is almost always a w
also +rep +drip

Better EHP stats than Ancient too, so I guess renowned + attack speed perk could be good for slayers where you actually need attack speed, and magic find is helpful too

a lot of ppl with mf crimson use renowned, and then u can get 100 ats easily between it and gdrag, so you can use hurtful power and all tunings into cc, the dps decrease is pretty negligible in this case when you consider the 1.04x magic find

The meta pre gdrag is to have one piece renowned with the perk maxed.
Post gdrag though you only use it with crimson for max mf.

1% renowned boost is good for mf but bad for damage
it does not outclass ancient at c50
the 15% damage bonus iirc is additive to additive damage modifier, but i may be wrong

yes
it outscales ancient when you want magic find
renowned is better in cases that you want magic find
